MICHAEL LYONS is the principal broker of Lyons Realty Group, Inc. (LRG). He has been licensed as a real estate broker since 1992, a real estate attorney and shareholder of Lyons and Smith, P.A. since 1998. He received degrees in Economics and Finance from Barry University and received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University. Michael is a six-generation Floridian. In addition to enjoying his free time time with his wife and children, Michael has served as a member of the Planning and Zoning Board for The City of Hollywood and is a current member of The Florida Bar, The Florida Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, and Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc.
Michael comes from a long line of Florida real estate professionals. His great-grandfather was building and selling Miami real estate since the 1930's. This tradition carried forward with his grandfather, grandmother, and mother, all of whom are licensed real estate agents. Michael’s father, Richard Lyons, is a distinguished real estate attorney with Lyons and Smith, P.A., founded in 1969.
Being a real estate attorney and broker has given Michael a unique perspective in the real estate industry. Growing tired of watching his legal clients and other individuals being misrepresented by other real estate agents, Michael decided to offer his clients a complete set of services and playing watchdog for other services he was not directly involved with.
