Mike made a career of mortgage banking from 1985 until 1995. He then completed a 120-hour course study (Graduate Realtor Institute) and used the related relevant experience gained as a Mortgage Banker to obtain his Real Estate Brokers License in 1995. In his first year as a real estate salesperson, he maintained the highest production of any broker/agent at a family-owned Cadillac Realty company from 1996 until 2003.
Mike joined RE/MAX Central in 2003. In 2010, he achieved RE/MAX HALL OF FAME Membership. He earned the RE/MAX Platinum Award for my sales production in 2011 and achieved the highest sales volume of any single acting broker or agent member of the entire Paul Bunyan Board of Realtors® membership. From the time Mike joined RE/MAX Central, he has earned the RE/MAX 100% Club Award for his sales production each and every year to present. He is proud to maintain his position as one of the top agents in the area.
Mike specializes in lakefront property, and for the past 21 years he has studied and become knowledgeable regarding lakefront real estate. Mike continually tracks and keeps close tabs on lakefront values, the supply of lakefront homes available for consumer purchase and data regarding the preferences of lakefront buyers. He has personally listed and sold some of the most expensive homes reported to the local MLS. Mike possesses the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation which is held by fewer than fifteen brokers or agents in Michigan.
