Bio
Michael Tobin specializes in the sale, lease, and development of office buildings and other commercial properties in San Francisco. His practice has special emphasis on working with professional service firms, technology companies, corporate entities, and media/radio groups. He has had the privilege to work with and exclusively represent some of the most successful and prestigious companies in San Francisco and the country.
Michael has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in San Francisco. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Michael was a director at Pacific Union/GMAC Commercial Brokerage in San Francisco, where he was a top producer and two-time winner of the prestigious “Commercial Agent of the Year” award.
Education
Michael graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelors of Business Administration, after studying his junior year abroad in Florence, Italy. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Community Involvement
Michael served on the Board of Regents of Gonzaga University from 2006-2015, and was awarded Regent Emeritus status by the Board of Trustees in April 2016. He founded, and was President of GUBayArea, Gonzaga’s Northern California Alumni Association for ten years. He is a member of the Olympic Club, past Chairmen of the Junior Members Committee and served on a number of other committees, including the Real Estate and Building committees. He is a member, and former Board of Director of the Guardsmen, a volunteer group composed of Bay Area businessmen serving disadvantaged San Francisco youth.
