Michael Zimmerman is a Vice President on Daniel Herrold’s investment sales team and based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He specializes in single tenant and triple net lease strip retail. Zimmerman works with sellers such as merchant builders, private owners and institutional clients, in addition to buyers in acquisitions and 1031 exchanges. During his 20+ years in the business, Zimmerman has been involved in over $1 billion in sales of shopping centers, single tenant, strip centers, office buildings and land deals.
Prior to Northmarq, Zimmerman served as principal owner at Ground & Space. He has also served as a Partner at Atlantic Retail Properties and a Managing Director at Calkain Companies. Before then, Zimmerman served as a Director at RJS Realty and Vice President of Investments a Marcus & Millichap.
