Bio
Michelle is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and Sales Agent in UT. As a seasoned real estate professional, she recognizes and values her relationships in the industry. Her passion for Real Estate stems from being a business owner herself and having the opportunity to help each individual client turn their vision into reality and seeing their business grow. Michelle is well versed in all facets of CRE and is an expert in strategic planning, acquisition/disposition, redevelopment, remerchandising, investments and ground up development in retail, industrial, land and mixed-use projects. A partial list of her clients includes Public REITs, Private Equity Firms, Real Estate Developers, Malls, Major Flagship Hotels, Multi-Family Developers, Universities, Municipalities, Public Agencies and Startups. Michelle has developed a strong reputation for providing her clients with valuable market intelligence and expertise while looking out for her client’s best interests and exceeding their expectations. Michelle graduated with a master’s degree with honors in Real Estate Development and Urban Planning from the University of UT Business School. At the time, Michelle was one of the very few women in the program – an anomaly, but something that she was very familiar to in the CRE industry. Nonetheless, Michelle saw an opportunity to give back to the community and mentor young professionals interested in the industry; being a beacon for underrepresented groups in the business. She believes more representation from women and underrepresented groups is important in the CRE business as it provides a good balance to the industry, bringing different perspectives to the table. Michelle believes continued education is vital as learning nourishes our minds, sparking new ideas by staying relevant to the industry, keeping up to date on trends, continue building onto what she already knows about the business, and understanding how to adapt in a changing environment. Michelle was recently accepted into an elite program at Harvard University focusing on leadership, tech, AI learning, capital markets and real estate. Michelle is excited to work alongside executive leaders in the industry from all over the world. Michelle is an active member in her community and has been involved with a number of industry organizations where she has held multiple executive leadership positions including Chairman and past Advisor for ICSC (Mountain States), Programming and Membership Chair for CCIM and many other leadership roles in CREW and other non-profit organizations including the Asian Chamber of Commerce. As a UT native, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid hiker, cyclist, enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family and her cute dog Bentley.
