Bio
As Senior Managing Director, Mike Matlat has over 20 years of real estate expertise in disposing of over 100 million square feet of leased and fee owned properties. Mike will be responsible for expanding our strategic real estate advisory services into additional sectors including hospitality, industrial and mixed use. During his career, Mike has achieved over $500 million in sales and has worked with companies such as Pillowtex Corporation, Meadowcraft, Arthur Andersen, Collins & Aikman, Family Golf Centers and the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach.
Prior to joining A&G Realty Partners, Mike was a Managing Director at DJM Realty and specialized in the disposition of real estate and renegotiating leases while achieving hundreds of millions in savings. Previously, Mike worked for Keen Realty where he was instrumental in many of the firm's bankruptcy sales.
In addition, Mike is the former President of the Turnaround Management Association of the Long Island, New York Chapter. He has been a member of The Turnaround Association for over 10 years. Mike is also active as a coach and a mentor to many student athletes in his local school district.
