Mike is involved with the oversight of Transwestern’s accounting and reporting functions, helping to ensure that the company’s accounting operations are best-in-class, innovative and leading edge in the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Mike was a Senior Manager of Audit Services at Grant Thornton LLP, a large international accounting firm, providing audit and advisory services to a wide array of diversified clients in various industries. Previous to his time at Grant Thornton, he was Director of Finance for a specialty manufacturing company and prior to that, he served as an audit manager for Andersen LLP.
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPA’s. Mike also serves on the Southwest region advisory board of Youth About Business, an organization which provides an innovative training program to prepare youth to be successful in business environments.
