Mitch started his career in commercial real estate brokerage in the Baltimore market in 1988. Within his first six months, on a cold call, he landed a 100,000 square foot warehouse lease with Universal Marble & Granite Company. Since then he has brokered more than 1,000 commercial real estate sales and leases. In 1999 Mitch established what was later to become Gold And Company, a boutique commercial/industrial real estate brokerage house that serves the Baltimore metropolitan area. His office is located in an office building in Mt. Washington he renovated. Mitch has worked nearly every type of commercial real estate transaction including: building sales, office leases, industrial park representation, flex leases, build-to-suits, industrial and commercial land sales, truck terminal sales and leases, industrial waterfront properties, brownfields, renovations, and long-term ground leases. His clients include large petrochemical companies, non-profit organizations including universities, schools, houses of worship, and health care providers, service companies, distribution and warehouse companies, retail stores, finance, insurance and real estate offices, refrigeration/freezer and food providers, construction companies, trucking and logistics companies, and development companies. Corporations and organizations Mitch has concluded real estate transactions with include: ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, The Johns Hopkins University, Kennedy Krieger Institute, National Aquarium in Baltimore, The Coca Cola Company, Denny’s Restaurants, United Rentals, CSX Transportation, 84 Lumber, United Cerebral Palsy, Meals on Wheels, Menlo Industrial Park, and Music & Arts Centers.
