Monica joined Podley Properties as an independent residential and commercial real estate broker in 2010 specializing in properties in the San Gabriel Valley, where she calls home. A few neighborhoods that she has serviced in the past decade include Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge, San Marino, Arcadia, and South Pasadena. Since 2012, Monica consistently been a Top Producing agent at her brokerage. She owes part of her success as a realtor® to her ability to speak and read Mandarin, many of her clients are Chinese nationals, abroad and locally. As a longtime resident of the San Gabriel Valley, she is able to share her intimate knowledge of the communities in the area. Everything from private and public-school systems to local amenities, she uses in her approach in finding the perfect home for her clients. Many of her most successful transactions have begun with long distance communications with prospective buyers or sellers; and due to her knowledge of the minutiae of Real Estate transactions, she has been able to close many sales without having owners or buyers present. With the rapid changes COVID-19 have brought on her personal and professional lives, she is no stranger to remote work! Her priority always being her clients’ wellbeing and safety. Monica always brings to her clients the ability to present their property in the best possible way by leveraging home staging, great photography, excellent copywriting, and an in-house Marketing Department to provide support. For those selling a property, she provides simple ideas and concepts on improvements that could bring more value to the property and identify staging options to maximize their interior space and design, as well as landscaping options to create more curb appeal for the exteriors of the home. She identifies a pool of prospective buyers and use my marketing strategy to fit the needs of her clients. By taking the time to get to know the needs and wants of her clients, she always keeps their needs and tastes in mind. This approach has proven successful in representing clients at all income levels. She genuinely enjoys working with people and am able to build rapport easily by being a good listener and valuing their individual needs. She is successful at contract negotiation, mediating conflict, and have always come highly recommended by those with whom she has worked.
