Morgan is an Associate in our Specialist department based in the West End. She specialises in advising on valuation, planning and development, acquisition and disposals advice in respect of religious, healthcare, educational, and other institutional and operational properties. She also specialises in advising charities and religious orders on purchase and disposal, and compliance with the Charities Act requirements.
Specific experience
Morgan’s experience has focused on Red Book Valuations for banks, public sector / local authorities, listed companies, Charities and private clients, for loan security, internal accounts, and acquisition / disposal purposes. Specialising in D1 and C2 property including places of worship, schools, colleges, conference / training centres, and healthcare property such as care home and care villages, Morgan has valued across the UK. In addition, she has disposed of several substantial institutional buildings.
Recent experience includes
Valuation of Thomas’s London Day Schools, an independent prep schools group with 1,500 pupils in prime London locations, as a trading entity for loan security and also for financial reporting purposes
Valuations of children’s day nurseries as trading entities, in Wimbledon, Clapham, Tooting, Twickenham, Highbury, and in Taunton in Somerset
Valuation of land with planning consent for a cemetery in Farnham for SDLT purposes and a subsequent disposal
Charities Act reports on behalf of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Wellington College, Malvern College, MS Society
Valuation of the Dragon School in Oxford, on behalf of Coutts & Co for loan security purposes
