Nancye Abbott is a Director and the Portfolio Manager of MetLife’s General Account Real Estate Equity portfolio. Abbott is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies for the portfolio, as well as serving on the Equity Investment Committee making investment decisions regarding strategic acquisitions, dispositions, and other capital investments.
Abbott joined MetLife, Inc. in 2004 as an Asset Manager in the Dallas Regional Office. Prior to MetLife, Inc. she served as CBRE’s Director of Asset Services for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Her more than 30-year career in real estate has included asset management, asset acquisitions, and asset disposition at Archon Group, Greystar, Phoenix Realty Advisors, GE Capital, and The Travelers.
