Bio
As a 6th generation Bay Area native, Nicholas French has a deep understanding and unmatched passion for the local markets – from the Peninsula to the South Bay. Throughout his 21 years in the real estate business, he has consistently been ranked as a top-performing agent and in the highest 1%.
Nicholas brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, strong negotiation skills and professionalism to his practice and is well respected by his colleagues – important in the Bay Area market where multiple offers are the norm and agent-to-agent relationships matter.
The backbone of Nicholas’ business revolves around his philosophy of providing value-add to clients during all phases of their real estate needs – not just the transaction. With an impressive knowledge of most bay area cities’ neighborhoods/schools, and with an extensive network of quality industry experts such as handymen, architects, electricians, landscapers, painters, exterminators, stagers, designers, property management, and inspectors, Nick’s goal for you is a stress-free journey through the process of buying or selling a home – likely one of the largest financial and emotional decisions you may make in your lifetime.
Nicholas’ process starts with client education and situational analysis and moves into negotiating the strongest terms for his clients to create informed and equitable decisions. Post transaction, your relationship will continue as Nicholas guides and helps with housing needs that arise.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University and enjoys economics and investment strategy.
Nicholas and his wife, Melissa, reside in Los Altos Hills with their two sons – Grayson (6) and Parker (4). Nicholas is an avid swimmer, cyclist and runner, and competes in several IRONMAN triathlons each year. He enjoys volunteering and organizes many community events throughout the year including the Los Altos Hills town picnic games and the Los Altos vs. Los Altos Hills softball game. He has served on the LAH History Committee and as chair for the Realtor Service Volunteer Program. He also helps at-risk high-school students go on to higher education through his own mentoring and scholarship program.
