Nick Schlekeway is the Founder of Amherst Madison, ‘Real Estate Advisors’. He functions as the Director of Operations for AM LLC as well as the Designated Broker of Amherst Madison Legacy; the Boise, Idaho Market Center. Nick is responsible for development and maintenance of Agent Transaction Support, Treasury Support, Strategic Planning, as well as a significant role as the Training Broker for Amherst Madison Legacy. Mr. Schlekeway has seen success in helping to guide Amherst Madison to over 60 Agents and 2 Operating units in only 24 months of operation. In part due to the rapid success of Amherst Madison, as well as other rapid achievements, Nick was honored by the Idaho Business Review as a 2014 Recipient of the “Accomplished under 40” Award. Selected from hundreds of nominees, the recipients at the 15th annual event were publicly recognized for their accomplishments and “On the rise status” in the business community.
Prior to involvement in Amherst Madison; Nick was a Top Producing agent and the Designated Broker for Boise Premier Real Estate. Nick managed approximately 50 agents, developed a robust training program, and coordinated with the Office Manager on the daily operations of a robust & growing Brokerage. Mr. Schlekeway came to Boise Premier as a high producing and educated professional with designations including the GRI, SRS, and Associate Broker. Nick has an accomplished background as a Top Performer in Sales; having been an annual member of the Ada County Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence; for 5 straight years.
Prior to his career in Real Estate, Mr. Schlekeway was a public servant and full-time firefighter for the City of Boise. He was hired #1 out of over 1500 applicants and served on the Hazmat team as a Hazmat Technician in addition to his firefighting & EMT duties. Nick was a leader on the Hazmat Team and took on the role of Chemistry Instructor & Training Organizer. His experiences at Boise Fire helped to mold his communication skills, leadership skills, and organization skills. Nick was called away from the fire service in pursuit of his passion and dream of business building.
A foundational building block for his management and leadership development came through his experiences and achievements as a Team Captain, All Conference Athlete, and Academic All American at Boise State University. Nick was a Three Year starter & motivational leader for the BSU Broncos; earning numerous awards for his prodigious work ethic & leadership – exemplified both on and off the field. Mr. Schlekeway was a constant member of the Dean’s List at the Boise State College of Business and Economics. He graduated with a 3.8 GPA in only 7 Semesters; earning a degree in General Business Management & the respect of his peers in the combination of athletic & academic excellence. Mr. Schlekeway is Passionate about education and believes that the hallmark of a driven person is their commitment to expanding their minds. He is currently in pursuit of a Masters in Professional Studies from Georgetown University; with a concentration in Real Estate.
As a result of his accomplishments at BSU, BFD, the Real Estate Industry, and the Community; Nick is given the honor of speaking to current Athletes, Students, & Entrepreneurs about his perspective on the path to success in Academics, Football, and Business. Mr. Schlekeway is driven to make a difference in the lives of others and to leave a lasting Legacy of Excellence.
