As the owner of a townhouse condominium in Salem's McIntire Historic District for 20 years, she brings her personal knowledge and experience to the table. She has been a member of various civic and cultural organizations including the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Historic Salem, Inc. (past board member), the Salem Athenaeum and the House of Seven Gables. Through the Children's Friend and Family Services organization she mentored a child in need for 6+ years.
