Patrick J. McNeff is the founder of McNeff Companies, Inc. and has been active in the commercial real estate market since 1972. Pat is highly regarded in the industry for his ethical standards and dependable attention to details. Because of his hands-on approach in the operation of a full service commercial real estate firm, he actively participates in all aspects of the firm. With over thirty years of diversified experience in commercial real estate, Pat utilizes his mortgage finance and development background to provide clients with an enhanced perspective in the management, leasing, reporting and value enhancement of their real estate asset. Prior to the formation of McNeff Companies, Inc., Pat was Vice President and manager of a Dallas Fort Worth income property mortgage loan division for a national mortgage banking firm. During the 1970's he was involved in placing in excess of $150 million of construction and permanent financing. In 1981, he became vice president of one of the largest owners of real estate in the region, Hunt Properties. His activities included implementation of acquisition / disposition plans for the parent company's private pension fund (a real estate portfolio in excess of $100 million). Pat participated in the development of office, retail and industrial properties in excess of $200 million throughout Texas, Oklahoma, California and Alaska. Additional duties included the negotiation and placement of interim and permanent financing. During his tenure with Hunt, Pat was a pioneer in designing and implementing computer models for the financial analysis of real estate before most businesses utilized desktop computers for their daily operations. Pat is a native Dallasite who obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and has an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University. His professional affiliations include membership in the NAR, TAR, NTCAR, Broker & Developers Committee of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and North Texas CCIM Chapter. He is a past president of the Dallas Young Mortgage Bankers Association and served for over ten years on the Board of Management for Town North YMCA. Pat is married and has two adult children, one of which is active in the company.
