Patrick Moroney is the Director of Real Estate for Zoned Properties, a strategic real estate development firm whose primary mission is to provide real estate and sustainability services for the regulated cannabis industry. Mr. Moroney also leads client project accounts for Zoned Properties Brokerage, LLC, that operates as the transactional brokerage division of Zoned Properties, Inc. Patrick has extensive brokerage experience in the regulated cannabis space having successfully delivered complex projects for clients across multiple states.
Prior to joining Zoned Properties, Mr. Moroney was one of the most successful Associate Brokers at Kidder-Mathews, focusing primarily on the regulated cannabis industry. In additional to coming from a family with deep commercial real estate history, Moroney established his own foundational real estate experience working as a commercial real estate broker rep at both Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International.
Patrick’s expertise includes site identification, contract negotiation, and cannabis-specific site development. He has the nuanced understanding required to effectively navigate the industry-specific challenges in regulated cannabis associated with zoning, permitting, licensing, and financing. Mr. Moroney has completed successful cultivation and retail dispensary transactions with local and national clients, ranging from local mom-and-pop cannabis operators to national multi-state operators (MSO’s), both private and public organizations.
Mr. Moroney graduated from Arizona State University after which he spent four years as a local sports broadcaster in Georgia and Iowa. At Zoned Properties, Mr. Moroney will continue working with valued Arizona clients, expand his expertise into new state marketplaces, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary Zoned Properties team to service national real estate clients.
