Bio
I lead a small team at Punch Retail & Leisure specialising in proactive asset management working with some of the UK’s biggest developers, institutional landlords PropCo’s and major retailers identifying opportunities and delivering them via regeneration and development in the retail and leisure property sector. Punch Retail & Leisure is very active in the property investment market the business having recently dealt with several transactions in the £10M-£25M range. My core specialism is the fast growing local centre and destination retail sector and I relish being able to deliver a unique combination of experience and insight with local knowledge to deliver a real advantage for our neighbourhood and local centre clients across the region. I enjoy being instrumental in transforming local property to the benefit of clients, tenants and the local community in a sectoroften regarded as a highly fragmented and challenging niche. Our work can be seen all across the region such as a new 45,000 sq ft Waitrose (the biggest in the UK) and a new 15,000 sq ft Rutland Cycling store in Milton Keynes - the biggest bike store in the UK and being right on trend with local markets and ever changing consumer behaviour are key in achieving this. The ability to introduce a particular use and occupier to a scheme has proved pivotal in setting the quality bar high, creating substantial added value and in driving consumer visits to each property. I focus on covering all the bases and ensuring to help ensure that I always bring solutions to clients - always being acutely aware of the need to be adding value. Outside of work I am a big sports fan both playing and watching playing rugby as a fly half until just over 10 years ago, captaining a football team and running competitive 10k’s. I now focus on tennis playing Premier Division tennis in the Northants county leagues and captain for over 10 years and also enjoy running and gym which give a good blend of competition and social.
