As a broker in Toronto East’s Land and Retail Divisions, Paul Howitt began his career in commercial real estate shortly after finishing his studies in Honors Economics at the University of Western Ontario. In 2000, Paul started working with a National Commercial Brokerage practicing Office Leasing in Downtown Toronto, where he was nominated for National rookie of the year in 2003. As his career progressed, Paul worked on a wide variety of different assignments, and eventually stated to specialize in the Durham Region - where he resides since 2007.
Having joined Cushman and Wakefield in 2007, Paul has established good relationships with a variety of Tenants, Landlords, Politicians, and other Industry contacts. He has completed numerous land sales transactions throughout the GTA, as well as sales and leasing transactions with clients that include Mobius Corp, London Property Corp, Simon Property Group, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart, Mcdonald’s Restaurants, Cara Restaurant Group, The Brick, LCBO, TD Bank, HSBC Bank, BMO and Serco DES. Paul has proven himself to be a leader at achieving success for his clients through persistence, focus, and a creativity that comes from a wealth of experience.
Paul is a strong believer in work life balance and healthy living. A former National ranked tennis player, he has recently received his Professional Instructor Certification through Tennis Canada in the hopes of one day being involved in coaching his two young daughters (born in 2009 and 2011). Paul is a lively and professional individual who’s passion for life is evident in everything with which he is involved.
