Bio
Paul Shain is President and Chief Executive Officer of Singlewire. He has led the direction of the company for five years. During this time, he has been responsible for many significant advancements, including the recent OEM agreement with Cisco Systems. Under Paul’s direction, the Singlewire team has grown from a handful of people to over 50 employees.
Paul is a seasoned technology industry executive who was most recently Senior Vice President and Executive Committee Member at CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services for business, government, and education. Paul was responsible for product and partner management, marketing, professional services, and business development.
Paul also served as CEO of Madison-based Berbee Information Networks Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CDW Corporation, acquired in October 2006. Paul joined Berbee in 2000 as President, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2005. Prior to joining Berbee, Paul was Managing Director and Director of Research for Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc., a regional investment banking firm headquartered in Milwaukee, WI.
Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a bachelor of business administration in finance and a master of business administration in finance. Paul holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and has served on executive partner councils for both IBM Corporation and Cisco Systems. In addition, Paul currently serves on the board of directors for Singlewire Software, Fiduciary Management Inc., American Family Insurance Company, Ahead IT, and the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
