Paul Smith is an associate vice president in Northmarq's Phoenix office. He is primarily responsible for the underwriting of new deals, sourcing new business and capitalizing on his past work experience in the manufactured housing industry through the conversion of existing leads.
Paul began his real estate career in 2017 working in a small California market for a local, privately owned real estate company where he focused on office leasing and industrial sales. After learning the fundamentals of real estate, Paul moved to Scottsdale in late 2020 to be closer to family and to seek opportunities in a larger market. Paul joined Discovery Land Company in 2021, where he worked on the contracts team. After serving there for 18 months his desire to reenter the commercial sales space led him to Northmarq, where he accepted an associate broker position on the Manufactured Housing team. Paul is continuing his career in debt and equity within a premier office, alongside some of the most prominent figures in the industry.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Southern California. He is a real estate licensee in California, Arizona and Nevada.
