Pavel has over 48 years of real estate experience in four states. There is no other Realtor in Taos with more experience. Pavel has never sought any affiliations with America’s corporate real estate franchises. Instead, focusing on affiliation with the people and businesses of Northern New Mexico. Their Brokerage generated money stays in the local community.
Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Pavel is multi-lingual, a licensed pilot and certified ski instructor and most importantly Realtor, Builder/Developer, and once again, a Top Producer in 2020. Pavel loves construction! He began his Real Estate and building career in 1973 in Michigan, where he built more than three hundred custom homes near Ann Arbor and throughout Southeastern Michigan. His claim to fame, from those days, was building a home for Dr. Fauci’s boss, the NIH (National Institute of Health) director Dr. Francis Collins, while he was at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and well before he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in November 2007, and received the National Medal of Science in 2009 and appointed by President Obama.
After moving to Southern California, he also practiced real estate and later was employed by J.M. Peters Company, a prestigious Newport Beach-based residential developer of high-end homes.

In 2001, the Mayor of Taos appointed Pavel to the Town of Taos Planning Commission where he is still active. He was also a member of the Historic Preservation Commission. These positions serve as the public’s acknowledgment of Pavel's commitment to the preservation and enhancement of the town's uniqueness, and his integrity. Pavel credits himself with having single-handedly sold "Ski Rio", a 2700-acre Ski Area and snowboarder paradise, and The Latir Ranch, a six thousand plus acre ranch and hunting retreat, to date the largest commercial/ranch sales in Taos Co., not once but twice.
