Pete Anderson was named Executive Vice President, Principal - Investments and Development of Becknell Industrial in January 2013.
Mr. Anderson joined the Becknell team in 2011 and oversees the Company’s property investment and development activities that are essential to the growth of the portfolio. His focus is to identify and negotiate building acquisitions, land acquisitions, build to suit and speculative development opportunities that complement the Company’s existing assets and allow Becknell to foster new relationships.
With more than thirty-years of commercial real estate and law experience, Pete’s skill set and market knowledge includes twenty-five years of direct acquisition, leasing and development experience throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Becknell Industrial, Pete served for three years as a top ten broker at Cassidy Turley in Indianapolis. He also previously spent more than 13 years at Duke Realty Corporation, where he held numerous positions relating to the acquisition, development and leasing of Duke’s industrial, office and medical office portfolio. During his tenure, Duke’s portfolio grew from five cities and approximately 15 million square feet to 14 cities and more than 100 million square feet.
Pete is an engineering graduate of Purdue University and received his JD/MBA from Indiana
