With over 27 years of real estate experience, Peter Best is a Principal of L.A. Realty Partners. Mr. Best has extensive knowledge of the Southern California marketplace, representing both tenants and landlords in a broad spectrum of services from Transaction Management to Corporate Services. Prior to his position as a founding Principal of L.A. Realty Partners, Mr. Best was a Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, responsible for Southern California office leasing, and also a Principal at Trammell Crow Company in the Global Services Division. Mr. Best received national recognition as one of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Top Brokers, as well as one of Trammell Crow Company’s Top Producers during his tenure at each firm. Previously, Mr. Best served as senior vice president for Grubb & Ellis where he achieved recognition as one of the Top Ten producing office brokers for 12 consecutive years. Twice, Mr. Best has been the recipient of the “Transaction of the Year Award” by REIAC and The Los Angeles Business Journal and has been honored nationally by Commercial Property News. Most recently, he received CoStar’s “Top Office Leasing Broker” Award in 2006. Mr. Best represented the Los Angeles Unified School District for their headquarters requirements of one million square feet. Other clients include Transamerica Insurance, Citibank, Foley & Lardner, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, Goodwin Procter, Education Management Corporation, Gensler and Activision. Mr. Best received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado where he majored in Economics. He is a past Board Member of the Century City Chamber of Commerce where he participated in the Real Estate Committee. Mr. Best is the former chairman of the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association and he served on the Board of Directors for 12 years.
