Pete Briskman is currently Executive Managing Director and Co-Lead for JLL's Mid-Atlantic Life Sciences Practice. Previously, he led JLL’s Maryland region overseeing brokerage operations for Tenant Representation, Agency and Industrial leasing.
Pete's primary focus is working closely with the region’s most visible Life Sciences, Government Contracting and professional service clients. He assists them with strategic real estate planning, lease/purchase/sale structuring, municipal incentives, site selection for technical facilities and overall transaction management including negotiations for tenants’ with leased and owned real estate portfolios. He has over twenty years of experience leading real estate assignments locally and nationally supporting his clients’ business needs.
Pete is a recipient of three GWCAR awards for Commercial Leasing Broker of the Year. Most recently, he was recognized as CREBA's 2021 Maryland Broker of the Year, Maryland Daily Record’s Power 100 List 2021 and Commercial Observer’s Mighty and Powerful of Washington, D.C., Commercial Real Estate List, 2022. Pete sits on the Alumni Council for McDaniel College, Advisory Council for Junior Achievement and is BioHealth Innovation Inc.'s (BHI) Board Chairman. Pete is married with three children and resides in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
