Bio
I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1965. After a stint in the United States Coast Guard introduced me to the west coast, I moved to San Francisco, and then Seattle before getting married and moving to the San Francisco peninsula. Then, in 1985 we found five acres on the Applegate River, just west of Grants Pass, and, with our two young sons, we said good bye to California, and built our riverfront dream home. In 1994 I joined the Century 21 real estate system and have been a real estate broker ever since, earning Century 21’s highest award, Centurion Realtor, in seven of those years. I have been a member of the Grants Pass Rotary since 1986 and enjoy the membership camaraderie, and the satisfaction we derive from improving our community. Grants Pass is a welcoming place, and, of course, most of us here are originally from other states (spelled C-a-l-i-f-o-r-n-i-a). My interests include cooking, gardening, and music. Though the children are gone, I still enjoy creating memorable meals on the weekends, and marvel at what wonderful tastes we can create with basic, fresh ingredients. My love of gardening, of course, fits right in to that appreciation of good food. Vegetables, flowers, I love all growing things. The last of my three primary interests is music. I have played the electric guitar since high school, though I took a long hiatus over the years I thought I was “too busy” to pursue my music. My live-in companion is Jasper-the-cat. I enjoy selling real estate, and the new acquaintances that I make in the process. Thank you!. I pride myself on listening to what a new client tells me they are looking for--and daring to expand my vision from what I am told, to include what I think could be that perfect fit. I have many satisfied clients, and hope that one day I might include you in that number.
