Mr. Gutzwiller specializes in commercial office product, with expertise in both leasing and investment sales and including both landlord and tenant representation. Mr. Gutzwiller’s geographic expertise in the San Francisco Bay Area covers the Highway 24 and North I-680 corridors, extending from the Orinda Hills, north through Concord and south to San Ramon. Peter Gutzwiller has worked in commercial real estate brokerage for over 17 years and has been a Vice President with Colliers International since 2008. Prior to entering commercial real estate in 2001, Mr. Gutzwiller had a successful career in advertising on national brands such as American Honda, Phillips Electronics, and Micron PC. Working on the business side, Mr. Gutzwiller was responsible for designing and implementing the plans to effectively bring together the strategic direction of the client’s business with the creative capacity of the firm. Peter brings from this career experience the ability to effectively identify and address the concerns and needs of both parties in a transaction. Peter has continued to develop and hone this skill in commercial real estate and has demonstrated exceptional skill and nuance in identifying tenants’ needs and sourcing space that satisfies those specific needs. This is further evidenced by Mr. Gutzwiller’s loyal client base that consistently returns to him for his expertise in successfully negotiating transactions and his market knowledge. In association with Colliers International, a full-service brokerage company, Mr. Gutzwiller has many resources available to him. These include market information tracked by a full research department, brochure and web design by Colliers’ graphics department, a Map Info trained professional GIS department, which include Map Market geocoding capabilities and Google Earth local drone aerial imagery, and Claritas & Environics Analytics for full demographic information which can be incorporated graphically or overlaid onto aerial maps. If the transaction requires the involvement of outside experts in legal matters, space planning, or tenant improvement construction, Colliers International makes those resources readily available.
