eter Hanlon is Senior Vice President of office & healthcare properties with Colliers International. He specializes in office leasing and sales on behalf of tenants and landlords/investors. With over 25 years’ experience in real estate and banking, Peter has completed hundreds of transactions. His commercial real estate experience reaches beyond traditional office properties, as he also specializes in the healthcare sector.
As the leader in healthcare related real estate in Salt Lake County and the Utah market, no other agent has participated in more medical real estate transactions in Utah than Peter. He has demonstrated expertise in the unique demands and characteristics of developing, building and tenanting healthcare related office/clinical space.
Peter’s expertise includes understanding the financing of medical and general real estate and the ability to analyze the real cost/benefit of investing in, owning, and leasing a particular property. He provides simple yet complete financial modeling to allow the owner or tenant to determine the best alternative to meet their goals.
In addition to Peter’s real estate experience, he was past Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield, Vice President of Wallace Associates, as well as a commercial loan officer of Texas Commerce Bank, a $20 billion subsidiary of Chase Bank.
Peter earned an M.B.A. from the University of Texas and a B.A. in Business Administration from Colorado College. With a strong belief in community involvement, Peter served on the Board of Catholic Community Services of Utah as Treasurer. He currently serves on the Rotary Club of Salt Lake City Scholarship Committee and Salt Lake City Rotary Foundation. Peter is also a member of BOMA and serves as co-chair of the Medical Office Building Committee.
Peter has been a featured speaker at the BOMA Medical Office Building Symposium, and was awarded the CCIM Business Excellence Award as a Top Performer at Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce in 2013.
