Pete Talman serves as a team leader for clients requiring the most sophisticated combination of expertise, transaction experience and negotiating prowess. Pete manages key client portfolio relationships including B Braun Medical, Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company and Lehigh University. His most recent major engagements include Morgan Lewis' Headquarters (Philadelphia), Pepper Hamilton's Headquarters (Philadelphia), ACE USA's Headquarters (Philadelphia), Marsh (Philadelphia), Aetna (Allentown), Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company's Headquarters (Philadelphia), and B Braun Medical's US Headquarters (Bethlehem). Experience Pete has forty years of commercial site selection, leasing, development and acquisition experience. He has been involved in more than two thousand separate lease transactions valuing well in excess of $3.0 billion for both owner/investor and tenant clients. Pete’s thought leadership and deal-making creativity consistently yield results that exceed his clients’ expectations, and he excels in the creation and use of leverage. Pete has received his company's highest awards. Pete joined JLL following its July 2008 merger with The Staubach Company, where Pete was Senior Vice President and Co-Managing Principal of Staubach's Philadelphia Office. Education and Affiliations He is a highly-regarded teacher and mentor in the profession, and has lectured for the National Business Institute, CLE International, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education and numerous real estate organizations. Pete serves on the Board of Trustees of the Woodmere Art Museum, and the PIA Dementia Subcommittee of Phoebe Ministries. He currently mentors individuals providing care for dementia patients, and is writing an internet help-guide for Alzheimer’s care givers. He graduated from Lafayette College in 1969, and left the US Army in 1974 with the rank of Captain.
