Peter Wong graduated McGill University, Montreal with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He joined the real estate brokerage industry in 1974. Peter Wong has more than 42 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been a broker for 40 years. Peter Wong founded Trustwell in 1981 and had been managing the company since then.
For the greater majority of the time Peter Wong has continuously held important Committee member positions in the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). In 1999 Peter Wong joined the member of the 25 Years Club of TREB. Peter Wong also sat in Arbitration, Ethics, Ethics Appeal, Professional Standards, Professional Standards and Hearing Committee in the Toronto Real Estate Board since 1983. TREB provide training to all committee members sitting on various boards’ yearly training and seminars. Peter Wong attended all of them.
Peter Wong was the Top 1% of agent in GTA in 1998 and 1999 IMS Incorporated – Auditors of Real Estate Information. He is also involved in Continuing Education courses offered to agents to maintain a high standard of professional competence and ethics at his offices.
Details of training that Peter has acquired include all phases of real estate and as required by Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is involved in continuous education. Notable courses include multiple appraisal courses, real estate financial analysis, construction / building inspection and many technical courses on the use of technology in real estate.
Peter Wong is also one of the FINTRAC Compliance Officers of Trustwell. He also teaches FINTRAC Compliance rules and regulations to his staffs and sales associates. Apart from the above Peter is also one of the trainers for the company training salespersons in residential real estate sales, property management, financing a sale, sale of business, investment properties, industrial and commercial sales throughout the year.
Peter Wong is a holder of Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal. He is also Past President of both The Toronto Hong Kong Lions Club and The Rotary Club of York and is holding the position of Director in both service club.
