Phil Lyons joined Cushman & Wakefield (Cassidy Turley/ DTZ) in 1995 focusing exclusively on retail shopping centers for landlord representation leasing/merchandising and repositioning, investment sales and ground up development.
Phil is one of the leading retail market advisors in Southern California and helps clients achieve the highest level of service by combining his skills to exceed clients’ expectations in today’s ever-changing marketplace. Investment Sales - Phil uses proven marketing methodologies and processes when assisting clients’ in the acquisition, and disposition of real estate assets. He begins with a bottom up approach starting with a comprehensive underwriting of the asset, the sub-market, the regional market and the capital markets.
Development - Phil also assists his clients in the analysis and underwriting of properties for development. He identifies niches in the market that are opportune for development and expose his clients to these opportunities. His extensive background in ground up development projects have given him the understanding of what a developer “mind set” is. He treats all developments as if they were his own properties and maximize value with real world return parameters and detailed accurate underwriting assumptions.
