Philip L. Valente, Jr., is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer in West Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Valente was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989. He is an EAGLE member and frequent lecturer for the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association and is admitted to the United States District Court Southern District of Florida and Federal Trial Bar.

Mr. Valente has extensive experience in the litigating and handling of consumer protection matters exclusively representing consumers who have been the victim of unfair and deceptive trade and business practices, illegal activities by debt collectors and businesses, and unfair, deceptive, fraudulent and illegal car sale and financing practices. His clients have succesfully brought claims against The West Palm Auto Mall, Stuart Nissan, Union Planters Bank, Key Bank USA, Crazy Sams, National Collection Network, and The Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery . He actively litigates cases arising under Florida's Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices Act (F.S. 501.201), the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (F.S. 559.72).
Mr. Valente has lectured extensively throughout the State and within the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers on such issues as hospital liens, personal injury and wrongful death trial practice, Medicare, Medicaid and collateral source issues.
