Working part time while in high school mowing grass, cleaning parking lots and small TI projects PJ learned the commercial real estate from literally the ground up. In the 1950's and 1960's He rode along with his dad and his father’s partner as they drove the farm to market roads of North central Texas meeting with farmers assembling 1000's of acres in what would become much of North Dallas, Richardson and Plano Texas.
Being an employee and partner with Hunt Properties and Stephens Land Co. since 1972 in Texas and Arizona in various types of real estate projects. He gained hands-on experience in planning, zoning, design, construction, sales, leasing and stabilization of real estate projects of all sizes. These projects include master plan and development of Richardson and Plano Texas, Arrowhead Ranch, Glendale Arizona, 1979-2008, Promenade Center Richardson Texas 1972 – 2008, Lennox Center Dallas Texas 1976- 1987 and other developments in Addison , Dallas and Lewisville Texas as well as Phoenix and Glendale Arizona from large employment centers to small boutique mixed use developments.
With the current market he is working with REITs, investors, owners and tenants to reposition and stabilize existing distressed and underperforming properties. Weather its strip retail, neighborhood centers, specialty retail, mixed use or apartments, PJ has always enjoyed the challenge of getting an asset to stabilization and being at its highest and best use.
