Ramey Beene, a graduate from Angelo State University in 1974, began his real estate career in Corpus Christi in 1977. Ramey sold residential real estate for several years, and then worked as the marketing director for a commercial real estate development group that specialized in the construction of neighborhood shopping centers. This opportunity gave Ramey much of the knowledge and experience in retail leasing and management that he utilizes today.
He then opened up his own office, Ramey Beene Real Estate, specializing in commercial real estate sales and retail leasing. In 1990, Ramey and Bill Ferguson formed Ferguson & Beene Commercial Real Estate, which specialized in all aspects of commercial real estate, from sales of industrial properties, commercial properties and the leasing of office buildings and retail shopping centers. In 1995 Dave Evans joined Ramey and Bill to form Ferguson, Beene & Evans Commercial Real Estate, Inc. Today, Ferguson, Beene & Evans serves South Texas as a full service real estate firm.
