Bio
Reed McCord was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, before heading to Oxford, Mississippi, where he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi. Following graduation, Reed built a career in insurance and financial services, working in New York City and Austin, Texas.
After gaining valuable experience—and enjoying his fill of big-city life and live music—Reed returned to his roots in Florida in 2022 to join his cousins at Mack V. Reed plays a key role in managing the asset portfolio at Mack V, focusing on property and asset management, financial analysis, and risk management. He has also earned certificates in Accounting and Real Estate from Cornell.
