Bio
Rene Hamilton serves as Managing Director for Helmsley Spear, LLC. Previously, Mr. Hamilton acted exclusively as a tenant rep broker with Vicus Associates where he assisted middle market companies in financing, manufacturing and media in the procurement and disposition of commercial real estate. At Helmsley Spear Mr. Hamilton expanded his business to include agency or ownership representation and has worked with BRP Companies, Swig Companies and other landlord on the marketing of office and retail space.
Mr. Hamilton believes every client deserves a dedicated advisor who will work tirelessly for their benefit. He was recognized by Real Estate Board of New York as a rising star when named to the inaugural REBNY Fellows cohort in 2021. He was selected by his peers to speak at graduation. Mr. Hamilton sees collaboration and communication as key ingredients to any successful real estate transaction. He enjoys creating win-win scenarios for owners and occupiers. Further, Mr. Hamilton dedicated his leadership to two New York City Non-profits: Directions for Our Youth (DFOY) and Council of Urban Real Estate (C.U.R.E.)
Mr. Hamilton enjoy cycling and being a soccer dad in his free time. Mr. Hamilton attended Williams College in Massachusetts and now lives in suburban New Jersey with his wife and two sons.
