Rich proudly served as one of many volunteers in the Downers Grove North Little League as its President for 2 years from 2004 to 2006 and helped to grow that organization over 20% since 2004 after first becoming active there in 1995 as a Team Manager and later League Director from 1995-2004.
Rich was actively involved in the The DGYB Youth Umpire Training Program (11-18 year olds), is himself a Babe Ruth & High School Youth Umpire and was also Website Administrator for DGYB Babe Ruth League as well as a past Vice-President for DGYB Senior League for 17-20 year olds (www.DGYB.org).
