Bio
Mr. Jantz is a highly experienced real estate executive who routinely demonstrates the expertise required to lead diverse teams of professionals to achieve client driven project goals. Richard is classically trained as an architect studying for his Master’s degree in Florence, Italy and the sensibilities ingrained in that training have informed his approach to construction and project management. Over the past 26 years, he has provided unsurpassed hands-on experience providing strategic real estate advisory services; project management operations, planning, and process engineering for hundreds of clients over millions of square feet both nationally and internationally. As a business leader, Richard has brought the skills developed over years of client management to the evolution of the Project and Development Services Group in the Tri-State Region for Cushman & Wakefield. After an introduction to the real estate and construction industry through two of the largest construction firms in New York City, Richard helped establish the structured approach to the discipline of Real Estate Project Management that is implemented routinely today. The structured approach includes standardization of scope of services, reporting, and financial oversight best practices memorialized in a published, copywritten Project Management Manual that has acted as the basis of training programs in some of the largest Project Management Services firms in the world. At every phase of his career, Richard has bridged the gap between the “business of a project” and the day-to-day business operations. Innovation of PM services has been an underlying foundation, and on multiple occasions, the expertise demonstrated in project management standardization was applied to technology platforms that would support the best practices of service delivery, enabling the training of thousands of project managers across the globe. His experience includes serving as the lead PM of the team that constructed Time Warner Center, as well as the Madison Square Garden reinvention. Recently, Richard’s former company Integrity Consulting Group was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield. After the acquisition, he was named the Executive Managing Director of Tri-State Region Project & Development Services.
