Robert Billingsley’s career began in 1971 when he joined Cross & Brown in Manhattan as a commercial broker where he eventually became the youngest Vice President in the firm’s 75-year history. As a founding principal of Colliers ABR, Inc. in 1977, served on the Board of Directors of the firm’s successor, Cassidy Turley and is now Vice Chairman of its successor Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Billingsley has designed and implemented marketing programs for over 20 million square feet of office space. He has exclusively represented numerous prestigious landlords including TIAA, AEW, The Bank of East Asia, Gucci America and The Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Additionally, he has represented tenants in some of the firm’s most notable deals, including TIAA, MTA and Gucci in transactions that exceed 5 million square feet. Mr. Billingsley lectures on strategies for leasing office buildings and taught in the Graduate Real Estate Program at Cornell University for 10 years.
