Upon his retirement from the Los Angeles Police Dept. in 1993, he began his real estate sales career in Santa Clarita. He has also been active with SRAR as a past board member and was president of the Santa Clarita Division of Realtors in the year 2000. He has also had served 11 years on the Santa Clarita Valley City Council and in 2004 and 2008 he was the Mayor of the City of Santa Clarita.
