Bob Thatcher is a seasoned CRE executive with 38+ years of successful Brokerage, Asset Management, Development, Construction & Appraisal experience. He is skilled in multiple property types; including Retail, Industrial, Office, Agricultural & Recreational Land. In addition to investment grade real estate, he is also adept at Business & Franchise brokerage services having served as the Director of Franchising & Real Estate Development w/ Ben's Soft Pretzels; an expanding QSR concept. He completed (39) transactions in just, (24) months. More recently, Thatcher has engaged in both Solar Farm entitlements and Mineral Rights management in addition to the sale of landmark properties.

Thatcher is an award winning, shopping center executive with 30+ years of retail real estate operational experience executing the role of General Manager/Director of Leasing of enclosed regional malls, open-air centers & free-standing NNN assets. He is an NOI-FFO-EBITDA Specialist with P&L responsibilities, staff management, Tenant, Government & Media Relations, Sales & Marketing, Public Safety/Loss Prevention, CapEx planning & administration. A Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) he historically negotiated & executed 100+/- leasing transactions/annum, including major national retail chain/anchor transactions. Thatcher is one of perhaps twelve shopping center professionals globally, to earn all six (6) professional certifications (CRRP, CRX, CSM, CLS, CMD, CDP) conferred by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC.org). He received the ICSC Trustees’ Distinguished Service Award for Meritorious Service in 2017. He remains an ICSC Ambassador, and an International Faculty Member of the ICSC John T. Riordan School for Retail Real Estate Professionals and RECon Academy teaching: Accounting, Budgets, Lease Administration and Basics of Operations to maximize Net Operating Income. He holds Real Estate Broker Licenses in Indiana and Michigan; and is a “qualified” State Certified General Appraiser, w/ extensive experience valuing assets & structuring successful RETax Appeals. He has been featured in Fortune Magazine, CNN Money and the Indiana State Chamber Biz-Voice Magazine on the topic of adaptive reuse of Gross Leasable Area (GLA) in retail real estate. Previously, Thatcher Co-Developed Island Golf Course & Community in Centreville, MI and developed 386 resort, lakefront and suburban home sites while serving in the role of Vice President of Pheasant Ridge Development Co. Thatcher's real estate practice also includes engagements as an Expert Witness. He has been "long" cryptocurrencies since 2013 and remains an advocate for Blockchain technology.
