Robert Stillman is a Vice Chairman of CBRE and has been with the company for over 28 years. Robert is a member of the CBRE’s Consulting Group’s Operating Committee.
With a strong financial background and significant experience representing both tenants and landlords, Robert has been a leader in developing and implementing real estate strategies for major corporations, law firms and some of NYC’s largest landlords. Robert has a keen understanding of complex lease and financial issues having structured numerous transactions on behalf of his clients. He has worked with a wide range of tenants including financial service firms such as BNY Mellon and ING Bank and major corporations such as Audible (and Amazon company), Charter Communications, Prudential, Xerox, Verizon, Comcast, London Stock Exchange, NBCUniversal and A+E Television. As agent, Robert has represented Related in the strategic lease-up of the Hudson Yards and continues to represent Ivanhoe Cambridge at 3 Bryant Park. He also currently represents Taconic Partners for the lease-up of their life science building at 125 West End Avenue.
Most recently Robert represented BNY Mellon in a 135,000 sf lease at 200 Park Avenue, a 400,000 sf in Pershing Plaza and a 200,000 sf lease in Orlando. Some of Robert’s most notable transactions include Verizon’s 1.3 million sf acquisition of its headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ coupled with a sale of 3 Bryant Park (1 million sf), of sale of 375 Pearl Street (700,000 sf), sale of 185 Franklin Street (800,000 sf), Boston and its 215,000 sf lease at 185 Franklin Street, Boston.
Prior to joining CBRE Robert, received his undergraduate degree from Emory University and MBA from New York University Stern School of Business in finance. Robert also worked at Republic National Bank of New York, Trammell Crow Company and Prudential Real Estate Investors.
