Bio
Rob Waller, Executive Vice President, leads the one of CBRE’s preeminent teams, specializing in the practice of representing and strategically advising tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers with their commercial real estate ventures – particularly those in the media, entertainment, technology and advertising fields. Thirty-three years ago, Rob joined CBRE, well before it was the Fortune 500 company it is today, and has become a leading expert in leveraging its client-centric platform to the benefit of his clients. In recent years, Rob has completed lease and sale transactions valued at over $3 billion consisting of over 8.1 million square feet of real estate. While the focus of his business lies in the Greater Los Angeles region, Rob has served as the Account Leader and Single Point of Contact for multiple national and global accounts, including Fox Entertainment Group, Hulu and KB Home. Rob is honored to have represented industry leading clients including Universal Music Group, AT&T, IBM, Samsung, the Los Angeles Rams and WPP Group, to name a few. With a specialization in media, entertainment, technology and advertising companies and the spaces they occupy, Rob is an expert in strategic long-term planning and real estate portfolio optimization. Over the course of his career, he has managed many significant and complex transactions. Most recently, he has represented landlords in several transformative deals, such as the 530,000 square foot leased to Amazon at The Culver Studios, the 285,000 square foot lease to Riot Games at the Element LA Campus, the 415,000 square foot lease of the ICON & CUE Buildings at Sunset Bronson Studios to Netflix, the 327,000 square foot lease to Netflix at EPIC in Hollywood and the 257,000 square foot lease of The Ford Factory to Warner Music Group in Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. Furthermore, Rob is the industry leader in studio related leasing and sales having represented the likes of Sunset Gower Studios, Sunset Bronson Studios, The Culver Studios, Raleigh Studios, Manhattan Beach Studios, Ren-Mar (now RED Studios) and many television and radio stations, in highly complex transactions.
