Roberta's journey into real estate began in the development department at the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency. Her experience led her to the Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation where she was a mortgage analyst. She returned to Boston to pursue her interest in cooking and study with the widely acclaimed Madeleine Kamman and later with Roland Mesnier, a former White House pastry chef. She taught cooking classes, owned a catering firm and was a food correspondent for the Boston Globe and Food & Wine magazine before starting a pubic relations agency specializing in the hospitality, residential architectural and design communities.
Roberta has been an owner and a real estate investor. She understands buying or selling a home is a very emotional decision. She uses her innate ability to anticipate her clients' needs and her capacity to walk in their shoes. She combines her listening skills along with her love of architecture and design to match everyone from first time buyers to seasoned developers with the right property.
She brings her proven negotiating skills, honesty and enthusiasm to every transaction ensuring her clients have positive memories of buying or selling their homes. Roberta believes every sale is a team effort, and her trusted network of advisors makes sure her clients always receive the best advice.
Roberta is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and one stop resource for elders and their families. She anticipates their needs and can simplify/manage the often overwhelming sales process.
Roberta founded Hope in Bloom, a non-profit organization, which plants gardens free of charge in Massachusetts at the homes of breast cancer patients. In her spare time she tends her own garden, scouts and writes about gardens for local and national publications.
