Bio
Roger started his real estate career in 1990, working for Strickland & Wright, as an apprentice in both the commercial and residential departments. As part of one of the founding offices of Integra, Roger obtained his MAI designation and became a partner in the local office.
Roger is well versed with various valuation modeling software, most notably Argus. Significant recent retail valuation assignments include, various regional malls, corporate headquarters, public golf courses, multi-property investments, etc. Roger has testified in numerous local Board of Revision cases in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and has appeared before the Ohio and Kentucky Board of Tax Appeals.
Mr. Thornton holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, Mr. Thornton has completed all the required Appraisal Institute courses required for the MAI designation, coupled with successful completion of the demonstration appraisal report. In 2003, Mr. Thornton was the President of the Cardinal Ohio Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Prior to being president, he served on the board as secretary and vice president. He received the CCIM designation in 2005.
