In 1968, Roman got his first taste of real estate, stuffing envelopes and licking stamps for his Realtor Mother's mass mailing to neighborhoods in North Dallas. The family later moved to the Rio Grande Valley, specifically Brownsville/South Padre Island, Texas, where he worked in the family business, construction, real estate and property management.
