Bio
Ru Budhi grew up in New York City and moved to Portland in 2015. With a passion for multifamily investments, he is constantly touring properties, attending Portland Housing Bureau meetings, and sharing best practices with clients. In November of 2019, he won a national Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) scholarship that can place him among the 1% of all apartment advisors with this specialized training. In March of 2022, he won a 2021 SVN International Achiever Award, and became a certified multifamily specialist in 2023. Ru comes from a real estate family that has invested in NYC, NYS, and Asia since the late 1970’s, and he holds his own real estate investments. Before finding his home at SVN-Imbrie Realty LLC, he worked for one of the largest CRE firms in the Portland Metro area. As a graduate of Outward Bound and NOLS, when Ru is not working, you will often find him, his wife, and their dog hiking through trails in the Pacific NW. He serves on the board of directors of the Laurelhurst Neighborhood Association, and is a trustee at the James Beard Public Market.
