After I left medical school in its first year, I began venturing into real estate, both as an agent and an investor, acquiring my own short term rental in 2013 in downtown Austin (78701) near the Convention Center, averaging ~$80k+ in annual gross revenue (~40% ROI).
My first closed deal as an agent was for a commercial client in Jan 2014 for one of Houston's largest, most reputable stone importers and distributors. Since, I've done $40M+ ($35M since 2019) in sales volume (all investors) and acquired 20+ rental properties nationwide averaging an ROI of ~13+%.
