Current Responsibilities
Ruth Wang is Vice President and Head of China Desk. Ms. Wang joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2009 to create the China Desk by utilizing her diversified industry background, well-established connections, and ample cross-culture experience.
She has established relationships with major Chinese banks, and large China state-owned corporations; Chinese-American Enterprises. She continues to develop the relationships with multi-national companies who have large presence in greater China. Ms. Wang focus on the strategic advisory representation of tenants and investors throughout Jones Lang LaSalle’s global platform.
Experience
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Ms. Wang was an Associate Broker at Newmark Knight Frank. She worked with teams that focused in
Bergen County New Jersey, and the financial and Plaza districts of Manhattan.
Prior to entering real estate, Ms. Wang was a Senior Financial Analyst on Wall Street, and a Business Advisor specializing in strategic planning
and financial management consulting for startup businesses and existing businesses entering new markets. She has industry experience in
executive education and training, international trade, venture capital investment, and commercial lending. Ms. Wang owned her own company,
Myriad Links LLC, which specialized in executive training, strategic planning and financial management consulting.
Education and Affiliations
Ms. Wang received a Bachelor''s in Business Administration with a major in accounting and holds a Masters in Business Administration with a
major in financial management from Pace University, New York.
Ms. Wang has been a frequent guest speaker and coordinator for business conferences in both China and New York City for international
trade/investments, and for SMEs. She is a member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the USA, New York Chinese-American Real Estate
Association, New York Chinese-American Bankers Association, and the Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Women New Jersey Chapter.
