Ryan Tucker joined RIPCO as Director in April 2022. He is primarily focused on representing both tenants and landlords with leasing requirements across the Florida and New York City-metro markets.
Prior to joining RIPCO, Ryan was a retail leasing broker with RKF in New York, which was later acquired by Newmark. He gained years of experience representing both tenants (from local to international) and landlords (from mom and pop to publicly traded) in the New York City-metro area, having completed transactions with Vornado, Brookfield, La Maison du Chocolat, The UPS Store, Equinox, Adam Grooming Atelier to name a few.
Most recently, Ryan spent two years with Newmark’s Retail Occupier Services group, where he represented retailers across the US in their lease restructuring and store disposition efforts. During that time, he completed over 235 transactions resulting in cost savings of more than $16 million for clients including 7-Eleven, Dollar General, Advance Auto Parts, Arby’s and Buffalo Wild Wings.
Since joining RIPCO, Ryan has taken an active role in growing the firm’s presence in Florida. He currently advises a wide variety of local, regional, and national tenants on their growth and portfolio optimization strategies across the state, including LA-Z Boy Furniture, Visual Comfort & Co. (formerly Circa Lighting), MAACO Auto Body, Zoom Room Dog Training, and Body20 Fitness, among many others. Ryan has also been particularly active in the restaurant sector, aiding restauranteurs and hospitality groups, who are often entering the Florida market for the first time, in their due diligence and site selection process. A prime example of this is the flagship lease for Philippe Chow at 1 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, in which Ryan was part of the team that represented the tenant.
Ryan graduated in 2016 from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He is an active member of ICSC, the Urban Land Institute and the Aventura Marketing Council.
