Salvatore Ferrigno is a Senior Managing Director with Newmark’s Retail Services, specializing in both landlord and tenant representation in Manhattan. Areas of expertise include retail leasing, investment sales and market analysis. Throughout his 30 years in retail real estate, Ferrigno has executed a diverse array of transactions and represented some of Manhattan’s most respected landlords and tenants.
Ferrigno’s ownership clients include Friedland Properties, Vornado Realty Trust, RFR Realty, Alexico Group, The LeFrak Organization, The Hakimian Organization, Phillips International, Extell Development Company, Reckson, Olnick Organization and The World-Wide Group.
His most recent transactions include the leasing of 3,200 sf at 384 Lafayette Street to Soul Cycle; 5,100 sf at 536 Madison Avenue to Sushi Shop; 4,500 sf at 50 Howard Street to Agnes B; 15,000 sf at 692 Broadway to Blink Fitness; 3,650 sf at 1240 First Avenue and 329 First Avenue to TD Bank; a 2,250 sf lease for Denim Habit on West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District; and he secured a 9,627 sf lease to Duane Reade at 254 Park Avenue South.
As the exclusive broker, Ferrigno completed the leasing assignment at the Mark Hotel on Madison Avenue and secured leases with Zadig and Voltaire, Punto Ottico, Phoenix Roze and 25 Park.
Ferrigno has also worked with numerous tenants for retail space needs. He has worked with Citibank on its strategic real estate expansion throughout Manhattan, New Jersey and Connecticut, arranging its leases in over 40 locations. He secured flagship sites for 24 Hour Fitness Derek Jeter in SoHo, The Flatiron District and Midtown as well as the NHL’s first retail location on Sixth Avenue. Other notable transactions include a 10,000 sf lease with Ben Sherman and a 9,000 sf lease with Quiksilver, both in SoHo; a 15,000 sf Trader Joe’s flagship store in Union Square; a 12,000 sf lease with Willner Chemists at 100 Park Avenue; and multiple leases with McDonald’s, Subway, OMG Clothing, Dunkin Donuts, Hollywood Tans, H&R Block, TD Bank, Equinox, Duane Reade, Starbucks, Wendy’s, Pret a Manger, Potbelly and Alamo Theater.
Prior to joining Newmark, Ferrigno was a Vice President with Robert K. Futterman Associates. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York and is a member of the International Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York.
